 I am sorry to tell you that you should choose carefully on what company to partner with while you think of running affiliate program to earn some cash. There are dozens of  companies that dont pay referral for their hard labours at the end of every agreed time.

in this article, i am going to explain bit by bit about how this affiliate program work. 
Putting my self in this position; I am a website owner and my aims for having it is to make cool cash  from it.
       
        HOW DO I MAKE THIS HUGE MONEY I AM TALKING ABOUT FROM THE WEBSITE?
I make my money from every visitor that come to my website and this means that if i had 1000 visitor for the day, i would have made 37 dollars and if each of the visitor click on two pages, it would have equaled 78 dollars for the day. Now because i want to make more money other than the 78 dollars a day, i would have to deploy more strategies. some of these strategies are:
1) send multiple mails to people who submitted their mails to me
2) engage followers on twitter and
3) create facebook page to engage fans.
If all the three listed didn't work to my satisfaction, i will now have to think of other method that will drive more visitors to my site to make up to at least 1000-2000 dollars a day.
Hence the affiliate program.
Affiliate program as a platform developed by website owners through which employment is made available to every desire individual who uses the internet. That is, it is a platform that pay an individual some amount of money for every visitor this individual bring to the website.
